I became talking with a mom of a student that is prospective. She brought up concerns regarding our evaluation of rigor and AP/IB/SAT tests that are subject. These concerns have recently show up more regularly in a blog so I thought it would be fitting to address it. Maybe it’s because AP tests are approaching quickly and pupils are starting to question if it is worthwhile to simply take the tests.
First, let’s address rigor. The overall inquiry appears to essentially boil down seriously for this:
Are admission counselors in a position to objectively and fairly evaluate the curriculum energy of every student?
